Render Vision Europe AB has developed this app as a marketing platform for the housing project Bacchus, a new district in Falkenberg, Sweden.
My Role : Core Developer
Tech Stack : Unity3d,Vuforia AR,ObjectiveC,Java
Platform : iOS,Android
Project Description
Bacchusfbg was an interactive 3D and augmented reality real estate visualization application that allowed users to explore the Bacchus property virtually. Users could walk around the area, look inside apartments, view the surrounding environment, and experience the architecture and interior spaces before visiting the site physically.
The application also helped present the unique pier-side location of Bacchus through an immersive visual experience. By combining Unity3D, 3D visualization, and AR features, the project gave prospective buyers a more engaging way to understand the property, apartment layouts, and available views.
My Contribution & Technical Challenges
I developed the main application in Unity3D, focusing on the interactive property exploration experience and the in-game user interface. A key part of my work was integrating backend web services through REST APIs so the application could display live building inventory information inside the UI.
The application could show which apartments were sold, booked, or available, with inventory status updated dynamically from the backend. This allowed the sales experience to stay aligned with real-time business data without requiring manual updates or rebuilding the application.
I also developed native support plugins for both iOS and Android so the Unity3D application could access platform-specific functionality. These plugins integrated native features into the base Unity build, including taking screenshots, sending emails from inside the app, requesting access to the phonebook, and supporting other mobile-specific workflows.
